The take the code wizard takes you through the steps for generating the code and uploading the script to your web server. Press the 'Take the code' button (in the 'Take the code' page) to start the process.

General page

Provide the name of your website where you plan to install the form. You can either provide a new website name or pick an existing name. If you pick an existing name, then the settings used for that web site will be preloaded in the wizard pages. This is handy when you install many forms on the same website.

Email settings page

Provide the advanced email configuration for the website. For example, you can provide the SMTP login details for sending emails. Select the 'Use SMTP server for sending emails' checkbox, press the 'SMTP settings' button and provide the SMTP server login details.

Database login page

If you have opted to save the form submission data in a database table, then this Database login page is displayed. Provide the database login details and press Next.

Generate code page

You can change the output folder if required. (A folder for the form will be selected by default) Press the 'Generate code' button to generate the code. Press 'Open output folder' to open the folder where the code is placed. Pressing the 'Advanced options' button opens the Code Generation Settings dialog box.

Upload method

You can either use Simfatic forms' in-built FTP client to upload the form scripts to the web server or you can manually upload the scripts. Simfatic Forms' 'Swift Upload' is easier and is recommended.

Swift upload

This page is displayed if you select Simfatic Forms' swift upload as the upload method.

You will need to 'Add' your web server before you can upload your form. Adding the server is the process where you configure the server with Simfatic Forms. Press the 'Add Server' button to start the The Add Server Wizard that takes you through the process.

Select the server from the drop down, choose the remote folder to install the form and press 'Upload' button to start the upload process.

Manual Upload

Follow the steps in the 'manual upload steps' box to upload the form scripts to your web server. After completing the process, provide the URL of the form processor script in the 'Form processor script URL' box and press 'Next'.
