SMTP settings dialog box

The SMTP settings dialog is for configuring an SMTP server with Simfatic Forms.

In the 'Take the Code' wizard -> 'Email settings' page, under Advanced Settings, there is an 'SMTP settings' button. Enable 'Use SMTP server...' option and press the SMTP settings button to open SMTP settings dialog box.

Please note that you need to use SMTP option only if you want to use a specific SMTP server to send emails. If PHP is configured to send emails, you can use it and there is no need to configure the SMTP setting.

Fields in the dialog box

SMTP host Name
The name of the SMTP server.

Port

The port configured for the SMTP server.

Use Authentication.
Enable this option if your SMTP server requires login name and password. After enabling authentication, provide your user name and password.

Press the OK button to save the changes
